Hajir Naghdy, head of Macquarie Capital Asia and Middle East, is stepping down from the role.
Neil Arora, a Singapore-based senior managing director responsible for investments in oil and gas, infrastructure and natural resources, is expected to assume Naghdy’s responsibilities, according to sources.
It is unclear whether Naghdy, who had been with Macquarie nearly 19 years, will return to the firm.
Naghdy and Arora did not respond to emails.
A spokeswoman for Macquarie declined comment.
Recent transactions that Arora has worked on include the acquisition of petroleum storage asset Universal Terminal and a 45% stake in Helios Terminal, both in Singapore.
