Brazilian airports to attract investors despite traffic study uncertainty

Brazil plans to tender at least 22 airports in early 2021 and, despite complications in carrying out traffic studies, relaxed bidding rules may attract more financial bidders to the processes, according to four experts.

In a late May webinar with bankers, Minister of Infrastructure Tarcísio de Freitas said that he wants to stick to the government’s plan to tender a total of 43 airport terminals in 2021.
