Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and other investors have acquired a mobile tower infrastructure trust owned by Reliance Industries – India’s biggest company by market value – for INR 252.15bn (USD 3.4bn).
Brookfield is investing USD 600m, the Canadian asset manager said yesterday, adding that it purchased the stake from Reliance’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings. It did not mention the size of its stake.
