Carlyle deploys 10% of infra opportunity fund, explores credit opportunities

The Carlyle Group has deployed about 10.3% of Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, according to its 1Q20 earnings release published on 30 April.

The firm has invested a total of USD 226m of the 2018-vintage fund, which reached a USD 2.2bn final close in July 2019. 

The fund, which focuses on transport, logistics, energy and power, water and agriculture infrastructure projects, has already invested in JFK’s Terminal One developmentCrimson Midstream Holdings, and the Harbor Island Oil Export Terminal at the Port of Corpus Christi.
