Dalmore Capital has appointed long-time Innisfree Director Tim Kashem (pictured) as its head of investors relations, as the UK manager prepares to launch its fourth infrastructure fund.
Two sources close to the process said that Kashem joined Dalmore in recent weeks as its head of investor relations, a role which involves responsibility for fundraising and reporting to limited partners.
Kashem left Innisfree in February after around two decades in various roles at the greenfield infrastructure investor, including heading its investor relations and brownfield investment teams, according to his Linkedin page.
At Dalmore, he bolsters an existing investor relations team headed until last year by Rob Styles, who since has set up his own advisory business Pareto Capital.
According to his Linkedin profile, at Innisfree Kashem raised six funds with total aggregate commitments of over GBP 2bn, including co-mingled funds for multiple investors and managed accounts for individual investors.
From 2006, he also led Innisfree’s brownfield investment activities, heading origination and execution teams that acquired over GBP 1.1bn of secondary holdings in over 40 projects across the transport, accommodation, healthcare and education sectors.
At Dalmore Kashem will work alongside Victoria Gorman, who joined the firm last year as a director in the investors relations team from Capital Dynamics.
