09 October 2018 - 12:00 am UTC

Infracapital transaction director has resigned from his role at the infrastructure investor to join KKR’s European infrastructure team, it is understood.

Signori joined London-based Infracapital in 2012, having previously been global co-head of utilities and infrastructure in the M&A team at Commerzbank.
At Infracapital, his roles included sitting on the board of directors of Scandinavian district heating company Adven and leading the acquisition of Polish gas plant and pipeline operator Duon Dystrybucia.

“We’re thankful to Alberto for his contribution over the past six years and wish him well for the future,” said Martin Lennon, co-founder and head of Infracapital.

Infracapital, which has a team of around 40 professionals, is managed by M&G Investment Management, the European investment management arm of pensions group Prudential.
KKR’s European infrastructure team is led by Tara Davies, who sits on the board of portfolio companies including smart meter business Calvin Capital, Spanish telecoms company Telxius and Spain-based global solar developer X-Elio.
KKR declined to comment. Signori could not be reached for comment.
