EQT Infrastructure seeking bidders for wireless towers portfolio

EQT Infrastructure has engaged MVP Capital to sell a portfolio of wireless towers that is part of its portfolio company Segra, said two sources close to the situation.

Last April, EQT Infrastructure III completed the acquisition of Lumos Networks and Spirit Communications and renamed it Segra.

The deal put together a suite of telecom services under one umbrella including a network of fiber, data centers and wireless towers, among other services. The wireless towers are all in the southeast, primarily in South Carolina.

The auction is in the later stages, said one of the sources.
