French environment company SUEZ is interested in scoring projects in Southeast Asia’s water and waste market, according to a company email to Inframation.
The company, which foresees a 7%-8% growth per year in its overall Asia-Pacific market, is seeking opportunities to secure contracts including for build-own-transfer, concession, operation & maintenance and leasing in the region, the statement said. It will also look at the design & build, design-build-operate models, as well as project management deals.
“SUEZ’s offerings for the water and waste market in Southeast Asia are extensive,” the statement said, adding that the company already has a footprint in water and waste management in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines, among other countries.
The Asia-Pacific region has a “huge growth potential” and is an important market for SUEZ to continue investing in, the statement added.
