IFM-backed Dutch energy storage company moves into China

IFM-backed energy storage company VTTI has made its first move into China with the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Dalian chemicals storage terminal from Odfjell Terminals for USD 59m (EUR 54.5m).

The acquisition, which has completed, broadens VTTI’s chemicals storage portfolio and provides it with further growth opportunities in the region, the company said in a statement on Monday (11 May).
