Indonesia considers PPP for USD 1bn new Bali airport

Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation will decide on whether to use a public-private partnership to develop a new IDR 16trn (USD 1bn) Bali Airport only after finishing a feasibility study, a spokesperson told Inframation.

The ministry is currently preparing the financial aspects of the project, after finishing the technical part of the study, the spokesperson said, adding that an external consultant has been recruited as adviser.

The spokesperson declined to provide additional details, including a timeline.
