John Laing Group plc appointed Luciana Germinario as Chief Financial Officer-designate to replace current CFO Patrick O’Donnell Bourke, Inframation has learned.

Germinario will come to John Laing from her prior position as CFO at Eight Roads Ventures, the principal investment division of Fidelity International Ltd., according to the 23 January announcement.

She will replace Bourke, who will be stepping down at the company’s annual meeting on 9 May after 11 years on the finance team. At that time, he will retire and pursue a non-executive career.

Germinario will start at John Laing’s London office on 25 April.

Oliver Brousse, Chief Executive Officer, said the board is excited to welcome Germinario.

“Her previous international financial and investment experience will be an excellent addition to John Laing’s executive team,” he said in the company announcement.

Will Samuel, the board Chairman, added Germinario will “bring strong operational capability with a real focus on driving investment performance.”

At Eight Roads she was responsible for the finance function, the real estate investment business and technology industry. She also provided advice on business strategy for the company and its subsidiaries, according to her LinkedIn.

Before working for Eight Roads, Germinario had various financial roles with General Electric and its worldwide subsidiaries covering industries such as Healthcare Energy, Media, Plastic and Financial Services.
