Kansai Electric to buy stake in Finland onshore wind project

Japan’s Kansai Electric Power has agreed to buy a 15% stake in an onshore wind farm project in Finland, its latest foray into renewable energy projects outside Japan.  

The electric power utility announced today that it signed the accord with Glennmont Partners on 24 April to buy the minority stake in Glennmont Clean Energy Fund III Wind through a unit called KPIC Netherlands.
