Singapore’s Keppel Corporation and Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have agreed to look at the feasibility of building hydrogen-powered plants to supply data centres in the city-state.
One of the projects that could benefit from the plant is a proposed floating data centre park (FDCP) in the eastern part of Singapore, Keppel said today (18 June) after signing a memorandum of understanding. The plant will be constructed on the tri-generation concept, which supplies electricity, heat and cooling.
