KKR closes Global Impact Fund at USD 1.3bn

KKR announced the final closing of KKR Global Impact Fund SCSp at USD 1.3bn in a 12 February press release.

LP investors include public pensions, family offices, high net worth individual investors and other institutional investors. KKR will be investing more than USD 130m in the fund.

The private equity fund is dedicated to investment opportunities in companies that provide commercial solutions to an environmental or social challenge. It is focused on opportunities across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Launched in 2018, the fund has executed a number of transactions, including in Barghest Building Performance (BBP), Ramky Enviro Engineers, KnowBe4, Burning Glass, and the formation of a wastewater treatment platform.
