KKR Infrastructure spinning off Viridor non-core assets

KKR Infrastructure is selling non-core operations of its UK waste company Viridor, with its landfill gas assets attracting the interest of 3i Infrastructure.

Sources familiar with the situation said KKR is looking to sell Viridor’s waste collection and recycling business, which is mainly attracting industrial waste management groups, and its landfill gas recovery operations, which could also attract bids from infrastructure funds.
