Macquarie Infrastructure Real Assets (MIRA) has invested in a Chinese data centre operator in its latest push into the Asia-Pacific digital sector.
The infrastructure fund manager has completed the acquisition of a 50% holding in Guangzhou Bohao Internet Services Company, whose data centre business is spread across northern, southern and southwest China, three sources familiar told Inframation. MIRA paid about CNY 211m (USD 31.5m) for the stake, they added.
