Macquarie strengthens French presence with senior advisor hire

Macquarie Capital has appointed Gabrielle Gauthey, an investment director at Caisse des Depots et Consignations, as a senior advisor to its EMEA infrastructure and energy group’s Paris office.

Gauthey (pictured) joined Caisse des Depots in 2015, where she has sat on its executive committee and led investments across infrastructure, real estate and telecoms.

She previously spent six years at Nokia. 

At Macquarie Capital, Gauthey will principally focus on investments in data infrastructure.

She will work closely with Macquarie Capital’s Paris-based senior advisor Jean-Marc Janilhac in her new role, and report to Mark Bradshaw, who leads the business’ infrastructure projects team in Europe and the Americas.

Gauthey’s appointment follows a spate of recent hires at Macquarie Capital.

Last month, Oliver Bradley was announced as managing director of digital infrastructure investing in London, while in New York, ABN AMRO’s director of power & renewables and offshore energy Julie Lee was appointed as vice president of Macquarie’s Green Investment Grou
