Purple Line Transit Partners (PLTP) is facing another estimated project delay for its light rail public-private partnership (P3) project in Maryland, according to an October construction report.

PLTP stated the anticipated revenue service availability (RSA) date, with acceleration measures, was now 13 May 2023.

The document stated:

“Without acceleration measures, the October schedule update shows an anticipated RSA date of 24 February 2025. However, PLTP projects that it can potentially accelerate certain activities to recover a portion of the delay, which would then result in an RSA Date of 13 May 2023. While the October schedule is under review by MTA [Maryland Transit Administration], PLTP continues to work with MTA on agreement towards a revised acceleration schedule.”
