Mitsui markets coal-fired power plants

Japan’s Mitsui is marketing a portfolio of Chinese, Indonesian and Malaysian coal-fired power assets, according to multiple market sources.

Morgan Stanley sent out a teaser marketing the portfolio earlier this month, the sources added. 

The most substantial assets in the portfolio are Mitsui’s stakes in the 2,045 MW Paiton Energy power plant in Indonesia, according to the sources.
