Credit Agricole CIB has appointed Eugene Kasozi, a project finance veteran at the bank, to lead the energy and infrastructure group in North America out of New York, according to the bank.

Kasozi led the EMEA region’s power project finance team out of Paris for the last ten years in his 20-year tenure at the firm, according to the bank.

He replaces long-time group head Jim Guidera, who will be taking on a new senior role that will focus on business development within the bank’s North American structured finance division.

Kasozi will report directly to Olivier Audemard, head of structured finance for the Americas.
