Jesus Olmos, the former co-head of global infrastructure at KKR in London, has hired a U.S. commodities originator at Morgan Stanley as part of the build out of a new infrastructure fund, according to sister news service SparkSpread.

The new hire, Nicole Hildebrand, is set to join Asterion Industrial Partners.

Hildebrand, a vice president and nine-year veteran of Morgan Stanley’s commodities group in New York and London, will relocate to Madrid with Asterion, according to an industry source.

Officials at Asterion and Morgan Stanley could not immediately be reached.

Olmos, who also led KKR’s activities in Spain, joined the buyout firm in 2008 from Endesa, where he was head of corporate development.

His planned departure from KKR was first reported by SparkSpread on 28 July 2017.
