North America: MUFG infra head seen joining rival

Nasir Khan, managing director and head of infrastructure for the Americas at MUFG Bank in New York, has resigned and is understood to be taking up a similar role at Natixis.

MUFG announced his departure internally today, according to sister publication SparkSpread

Nanda Kamat, a director, will replace Khan as head of infrastructure at the Japanese bank, according to one source. 

A spokesman for MUFG declined comment. Khan and Kamat could not be reached for comment. 

Khan joined MUFG as head of infrastructure in 2010.

Previously, he was chief development officer for Ports America, and a director at Citi covering infrastructure and energy finance.

Kamat worked for Goldman Sachs before joining MUFG in 2009.
