Rubicon Capital Advisors today said it has set up a global investor-focused team and expanded its presence into Asia with an office in South Korea.

The Investor Coverage Group will work to meet the needs and objectives of strategic, fund and institutional investors, the investment banking advisory firm said in a statement.

Christian Jung, who will start at Rubicon as part of the new group, will run the Seoul office and seek to expand its investor coverage in Korea and across Asia.

“Our entrance into Korea and the wider Asian market further broadens Rubicon’s ability to provide local knowledge with global expertise across the infrastructure, energy and utilities sectors,” Rubicon CEO Conor Kelly was quoted as saying in the statement. “We look forward to expanding our client base into Asia and growing our market presence in such a strategically important region.”

Dublin-based Rubicon focuses on the infrastructure, energy and utility sectors.
