Sacyr-backed Colombian highway reaches USD 450m financial close

The sponsors of the 62.2km (38.65 mile) Sacyr owned Cúcuta-Pamplona highway have reached financial close on a USD 451.5m debt package, according to a 20 April press release.

Spanish builder Sacyr owns 100% of the project and signed the financing with 10 lenders on 16 March for the 4G highway.

The project, located in the Norte de Santander Department, includes building 50.2 km of new road, two tunnels and revamping the existing highway, for a COP 2trn investment, according to a July 2017 release.
