The Spanish company Sacyr was the only bidder for the Ruta 5 Los Vilos La Serena project in Chile, the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) announced on a press release.
The head of the Concession division, Hugo Vera Vengoa said that the authorities expect to open the economic bid by December.
The official economic bid opening date is 26 December.
The project will entail 245km of roads, with 16km3 express lanes each way, along with sidewalks and bike lanes.
The estimated investment is USD 509m. The project was launched in May.
Sacyr has been active in Chile, with several concessions in the county. Earlier in 2018 the Spanish developer hired BTG Pactual to sell up to a 50% stake in its projects in the country, as reported.
