Shortlist identified for Ottawa’s Trillium LRT

Three teams have made the shortlist for Ottawa’s CAD 535m (USD 404m) Trillium line LRT project, Inframation has learned.

The DBFM project is part of the city’s Stage 2 LRT program, which has three elements. The project involves the construction of seven new stations, as well as 11km of track and bundled city projects.  

The city plans to award the contract by 2Q18 and begin construction in 3Q18, respectively, according to the project RFQ issued in early April.

The grantor did not return calls for comment by press time.

The three teams are:

– SNC-Lavalin
– Plenary (North America), RW Tomlinson, Colas, WSP
– Fengate, Acciona, Thomas Cavanagh, CAF, CIMA+

The three teams returned qualifications on 20 June, along with two other teams:

– Grupo ACS, EllisDon, Dragados
– Sacyr, Amber
