A Spanish renewables developer has tapped Lazard to sell a 720 MW portfolio of solar PV projects in Brazil, according to sister publication Sparkspread.
Barcelona-headquartered Enerside Energy is running a sale of three projects in advanced development in north-eastern Brazil, SparkSpread has learned.
All three projects are backed with 15-PPAs from Brazilian power merchant Tradener.
Lazard recently began disseminating sales teasers to potential bidders, in deal code-named Project Imperial, says a source.
The portfolio comprises the 300 MWp Ribeiro Goncalves project in Piaui state and the Pudong 1 (143 MWp) and Pudong II (277 MWp) projects in the state of Ceara.
Pudong 1 is fully permitted and ready to build. The other two projects are close to being fully permitted.
Founded in 2007, Enerside has developed over 150 MW of projects in Spain and Latin America. It is now primarily focused on developing projects in North, Central and South America, according to its website.
