Stonepeak-backed developer plans 4.4 GW Taiwan wind portfolio

Taiwan’s Swancor Renewable Energy – owned by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners – plans to develop a 4.4 GW offshore wind portfolio in the territory. 

The portfolio, called Formosa 4, will comprise of three projects – Formosa 4-1, Formosa 4-2 and Formosa 4-3 – which will all be located 18-20km off the coast of northwest Miaoli county, a spokesperson from the Taipei-based offshore wind developer told Inframation. She did not mention the investment involved to develop the entire portfolio.
