In 2002, Inframation Group was founded with the launch of InfraNews, a niche but highly successful news service aimed at keeping the infrastructure investment community abreast of the pipeline of deals coming to market and the procurement of projects. Fast forward to 2012 and Inframation Group, made up of three regional news products and a new data offering, was acquired by The Mergermarket Group. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, launching new services and enhancing our existing offering to cater to an industry which has grown and diversified at an astonishing rate. No longer an area for niche investors, infrastructure has become a mainstream asset class. We are determined to remain at the forefront of the evolution of this exciting industry, to continue providing the highest quality and most exclusive content, and to deliver it in the most readable and easy-to-access format possible. As of 10th July 2017, our parent company, The Mergermarket Group becomes Acuris. We are taking this opportunity to update our brand too, unifying all our products under one umbrella: Inframation, an Acuris company. InfraNews (EMEA), InfraAmericas (US & Canada), InfraLatinAmerica (Latin America & Caribbean) and InfraAsia (Asia Pacific, Australia & New Zealand) will henceforth have one name, Inframation News. InfraDeals becomes Inframation Deals. Instead of five separate websites, all of our news and data is now accessible via one platform. As a group, we have made this change to better represent what we do. Acuris embodies the qualities shared by all our information brands, whichever market they cover: Acumen – the ability to make good judgements and take quick decisions Curation – organising information using expert knowledge Insight – an accurate, deep understanding The move to Acuris will be more than just a cosmetic change. It will also help us take advantage of the wealth of intelligence and expertise across the Group so we can ensure our products are ever more valuable to our subscribers. We have further developments coming later this year — improvements to our mobile capability being one of the key priorities. We’re proud to become Inframation and to be part of Acuris. As we grow, we look forward to continuing to provide you with intelligence that powers your business growth.
