Two executives depart John Laing US

John Laing lost two of its US personnel in recent weeks as both Ryan Prince and Sven Kottwitz departed the firm.

John Laing declined to comment on the situation.

A source close to the situation said that Gregory Kitscha, the investment director of North America, would assume Kottwitz’s duties for public-private partnerships and that the company is actively looking to replace Prince. The departures are not expected to change John Laing’s North American strategy, added that source.

Prince was the senior vice-president of primary investments having joined the organization in 2015 from Macquarie’s Funds Group. Kottwitz joined the firm in March 2018 as head of primary investments for North America and previously worked at Meridiam.
